East of England Investment Fund Launches to Support SME Growth

As part of the Government-backed Nations and Regions Investment Funds programme, the fund aims to support business growth, innovation, job creation and productivity by improving access to commercial finance.

The fund offers debt finance from £25,000 to £2 million and equity investment of up to £5 million, helping ambitious businesses to start, scale and expand. Debt funding will be delivered by Eastmeare (Beechbrook LLP), while Mercia Ventures (Mercia Asset Management PLC) will manage equity investments for high-growth businesses. Open on a rolling basis, the EEIF is available to SMEs with a headquarters or significant operating presence in the East of England and can support a wide range of growth activities, including innovation, market expansion, recruitment and productivity improvements.
