Funded by ourselves, the website acts as a single front door for growth in the county. It offers resources in a single place, making it easier to find the right help faster.  

The easy to navigate website was created in response to feedback from businesses and residents. Businesses can find help to grow, innovate and invest. Residents residents can access training, job opportunities and careers advice.  

Councillor Peter Harris, Leader of Essex County Council, said: “What businesses often tell us is that the support landscape feels fragmented. There is a lot of support, including skills programmes, funding and mentoring. Essex Growth Agency is designed to bring everything together in one place. The new website cuts through complexity for businesses, investors and residents.   “Having a skilled workforce and thriving business community is central to the success of the Essex economy. Our focus is on growth that creates real opportunity. That means helping businesses succeed and supporting residents into better jobs.”
