Innovate Essex Fund Launches

The Innovate Essex Fund is a new business innovation programme delivered by the Essex Growth Agency in partnership with the University of Essex. The fund is designed to support entrepreneurs, start-ups, SMEs and social enterprises across Essex to develop innovative ideas, accelerate business growth and improve productivity through targeted innovation support.
Through three tailored funding strands, Explore, Develop and Scale, the programme helps businesses progress from early-stage concepts and feasibility work through to product development, market validation and commercial growth. Alongside financial support, eligible businesses can access specialist expertise, research knowledge and innovation support to help bring new products, services and processes to market.
The fund aims to strengthen Essex's innovation ecosystem, encourage investment in innovation, create high-value employment opportunities and support the development of businesses that can contribute to the county's long-term economic growth and competitiveness.
