We will also introduce the Innovation Grant Mentoring Programme, outlining how it supports innovators in Norfolk, Suffolk and Essex through tailored guidance, expert feedback, and structured bid‑writing support.

Innovation Grant Mentoring Programme: A fully funded programme for innovative SMEs, which to date has supported businesses in the region to secure £3.1m of innovation funding and inspired many more founders to consider working towards innovation funding to support their innovative research and development projects.

It is a free-to-access service, with a pool of experienced Innovation Mentors and Bid Coaches who give businesses leaders practical insights to improve success rates - companies are matched to an expert accordingly. The Programme supports businesses in Norfolk, Suffolk and Essex.
