The new manifesto, unveiled by the Greater Essex Business Board (GEBB), sets out how the area can accelerate growth even further, attract new investment and unlock opportunity for employers of every size.

The event brought together senior business figures, councils and partners, with speakers emphasising the importance of a strong business voice as Greater Essex enters a new era of devolved decision‑making.

Significant investment is already underway - from London Stansted Airport and DP World London Gateway to Freeport East, Thames Freeport and the £9bn Lower Thames Crossing - reinforcing the region’s position as a globally connected powerhouse.
