Cefic Long-range Research Initiative (CEFIC-LRI) - 2018 Call Open

Funding available for projects that improve understanding of the potential health and environmental risks associated with chemicals.

The need to address societal concerns and help public understanding of the long-term impacts of human activity and man-made substances on the environment and on health led to the establishment of the Long-range Research Initiative (LRI) programme of the European Chemical Industry Council (Cefic). The LRI aims to increase understanding and also to improve methods for risk assessment. The intention is to provide proactive scientific advice to both industry and regulatory bodies allowing them to respond quickly and accurately to societal concerns.
