Contributions Invited on the UK’s Delivery of the Global Sustainable Development Goals
10/10/2018
As part of Agenda 2030, the UK is reviewing its progress towards the Sustainable Development Goals.
Building on the progress made by the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) between 2000 and 2015, the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are a global framework for tackling the most pressing challenges of our time including conflict, health and well-being, climate change and gender equality. The Goals were agreed by 193 Member States of the United Nations (UN) in September 2015 and apply to every country.
