Robert Louis Stevenson Fellowship 2019 Accepting Applications from Professional Writers

This is a fellowship for Writers based in Scotland who wish to undertake a month-long residency at the Hotel Chevillon International Arts Centre at Grez-sur-Loing, France.

This fellowship first began in 1994 and was the idea of Franki Fewkes, a Scottish RLS enthusiast who was then living in France. It is supported by Creative Scotland. The location of this fellowship, Grez-sur-Loing at the edge of the French Forest of Fontainebleu, was selected because of its ties to Robert Louis Stevenson. Stevenson first visited there during 1875 and would be a place of significance to his life and work.
