Launch of Horizon ‘RESponsible Island - Prize For a Renewable Geographic Energy Island’

The prize will recognise achievements in renewables on geographic energy islands, thereby highlighting the potential of renewables for decentralised energy grids by addressing energy needs for electricity, heating, cooling and transport.
Horizon 2020 is the EU's programme for research and innovation. It will run from 2014-2020 and is the successor to the Seventh Framework Programme (FP7).
