IUK Launches Future Flight Challenge Phase 2 Development Competitions

Funding is available for UK registered businesses, collaborating with others, to develop systems and technologies that enable new classes of electric or autonomous air vehicles.
Through two separate competition strands, Innovate UK (IUK) is funding collaborative innovation projects to develop integrated aviation systems and/or vehicle technologies that enable new classes of electric or autonomous air vehicles. These could include drones, urban air mobility vehicles or electric regional aircraft. Solutions should be able to be integrated into a mature operational environment, ensuring safe and reliable operation in flight and on the ground.
