Grants to Protect Wales’ Vital Habitats and Threatened Species
07/07/2020
A grant scheme has opened to help improve sites of natural significance around Wales, supporting land managers, charities and communities to take forward their work and contribute to the nation’s recovery from COVID-19.
The Sustainable Management Scheme - Supporting Natura 2000 Restoration aims to support landscape-scale capital investment, delivering action to improve the condition of Natura 2000 sites around Wales by March 2021. Natura 2000 is a network of core breeding and resting sites for rare and threatened species, and some rare natural habitat types which are protected in their own right.
