ESF Community Grants Programmes Still Open for Applications in Some Areas of England

Funding for third sector organisations to offer local skills, training and employment opportunities for individuals aged 16 and over who are unemployed or economically inactive, often from the hardest to reach communities.

Funded by the European Social Fund (ESF) and the Education and Skills Funding Agency (ESFA), and managed by local organisations, the ESF Community Grants programme provides grants of up to £20,000 to local third sector organisations or smaller voluntary and community groups.
