New Funding to Create and Restore Woodlands on HS2 Route

Grants are available for woodland owners and land managers located up to 25 miles from the phase one HS2 railway route, towards the restoration of existing ancient woodlands and creating new native woodland.
Forming part of the construction of Britain’s new high speed railway, High Speed Two (HS2) Ltd is creating a network of new wildlife habitats along the route.
