Description

They are used for of wide variety of DIY projects including sound and light, robotics, ‘wearables’, custom gadgets, ‘Internet of Things’ devices and much more.

In this workshop you will be guided step-by-step through the process of getting started with the Arduino platform, going from simply turning an LED on and off and progressing through to using sensors, making sound and controlling motors.

All equipment including Arduinos, components and laptops will be provided for use within the session. You are welcome to bring your own laptop to use, if so please try to install the Arduino software beforehand using the link below:

Workshop places are limited to provide participants with plenty of time and hands-on guidance.

This session is open to everyone, you do not need to be a makerspace member to attend

Ages 16+

Hosted in Hull Central Library, MakerspaceHull allows anyone to explore their creativity in arts, science, technology and engineering - independently or collaboratively.

The space has state of the art manual, digital and electronic equipment, skilled staff providing support and workshops, as well as space to create, invent, explore, learn, think and exhibit.
